Complex Analysis Day
Description
The field of Complex Systems aims to understand emergent phenomena in systems with many interacting components. The Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded in 2021 for work advancing the field of Complex Systems. As systems exhibiting complexity are spread across disciplines, the researchers investigating complex phenomena are also spread across disciplines including physics, mathematics, computer science, biology, and others. The goals of Complex Systems Day are
- To bring together researchers in the area of Complex Systems in the greater Toronto area, for the purpose of helping researchers to be aware of the Complex Systems field more broadly and to provide opportunities for interactions that can seed collaboration.
- To provide a venue for presentations and interactions among trainees.
