Meeting on Systems and Control Theory
Description
The Meeting on Systems and Control Theory to be held at Queen’s in 2027 will be a major scientific activity for researchers and graduate students on mathematical control theory. It will be a continuation of a tradition which started in May 2004 at Queen’s University, with subsequent biannual meetings at Toronto and Waterloo, then rotating between these three institutions until very recently where the host institutions now also include McGill University.
These meetings have proven to be effective venues for enhancing the collaboration among the mathematical control theory community and raising the profile of control theory in Canada. An emphasis of these meetings has been to provide a high quality but simultaneously welcoming environment for junior faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students to interact with one another and also more established faculty, and present their research.
